Small Town Love Story

From the Bride...

The Bride and Groom (Kayla and Brian) started writing their love story in high school in 2007. Kayla a Senior and Brian a Sophomore, both at Marinette High School. Kayla moved to Green Bay to go to college and Brian graduated high school and started out in the workforce right away in Marinette. Fast forward, March of 2015, Brian proposed on the beaches of Runaway Bay, Jamaica. Brian and Kayla then started to plan their rustic style wedding that would be held on August 6th, 2016 in Green Bay. We fell in love with the Duck Blind venue at the Vandervest Harley Davidson to have our reception and the beautiful Green Bay Botanical Gardens to host our ceremony. Our wedding was perfect! It was a gorgeous, sunny summer day. With our 18 person wedding party by our sides and our closest friends and family to witness our vows to each other and become husband and wife. We got pictures inside the beautiful garden, where there is not one bad spot to take a photo, then because we are both die hard Green Bay Packer fans, getting pictures at Lambeau Field was a must. After the ceremony, we continued our celebration with dinner and reception at The Duck Blind (Olde 41/Vandervest Harley Davidson). This venue was the perfect fit for our rustic wedding vision that we both have imagined. It was the best day of our lives and we wouldn't have changed a thing.
